Stargazer

The cross stitch that began it all...

Wandering into a little store called Stitchers Paradise one afternoon, having no idea the obsession that was about to be born, I purchased my first cross stitch project, Stargazer by Mirabilia. Sure, I had stitched the odd cat in my youth, but I had not held a needle in over 10 years. After many nights of stitching in front of a warm fire after the baby I had nannied was asleep Stargazer was finished. Framed by The Crone as a gift for my 28th Birthday. The Maiden

  2. She is really spectacular. I love the fact that projects are leaving their specialty places of hiding and coming out to the light. We miss you too...mother. How are you feeling?

  3. The framer called today to make sure I was happy with Stargazer (how nice!). She said she did include the beveling initially, but it looked horrible and was distracting so she took it out!

Kristin said it looks as if she is emerging from the night. LOVE IT!

Miss you lots Mother, especially the tea talks.

  4. I am officially back to work now, trying to catch up on the 4 weeks of work that I am behind. I am feeling pretty good. I go back to the doctor at the end of the month, hopefully to get a walking cast so I can burn the crutches. I am 6 weeks into my 12 week recovery...good news is I have dropped several pounds and my arms are toning up nicely.
