Rest and Be Thankful update

The house has become a completed Home! I cannot find the card for the fabric used, my only guess is that I bought what the artist, Vicki Hastings for the Cricket Collection, suggested: 30ct Old Mill Java overdyed linen (oddly I did not chose a 32ct and the large holes are a little bothersome). This piece uses Anchor and Silk'n Colors (the Anchor lays much nicer than the silk). My goal is to have this piece done by Thanksgiving, and now I feel I am well on my way! The Maiden

  1. This is stunning. If you get this done by Thanksgiving then I know you haven't left your house in a month....let's go to the antique mall or something so you can escape for awhile. This also makes me want to post my WIP on my potted fancy. I've been able to throw a few hundred stitches that way as well..maybe I will post, so that we can race to the finish on these projects. Ha ha...

  3. Bill and I ate the apple pie apple...sooooooooo good. I love the idea of the apple of the month club, we will have to look that one up. It would go with the Mother's very first cross stitch that started our blog.
