My Biscornu design...I've started to stitch it, but the pictures didn't come out....so I posted the design. "Venetian Opulence" is still in its beginning stages. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am the the crest in the middle is completed. It doesn't look that big but with all of the subtle gold shades that are in it, it took forever.

I love the natural linen that you are using for the lighthouses. I don't think I was able to see that before. Do you have the names for the stitches you have created for the biscornu? I started one (WIP big time)...of course I picked one to do with a zillion colors and stitches-dumb for first time. I noticed the large crosses on the outside...not a typical set of stitches you choose, great stuff. You never cease to amaze me. Are you doing it on the left over white sparkle? That will be amazing too. The swift fingers of the maiden are never ceasing...she is back to about 11 projects I think and we went to the cross stitch store yesterday. Ah oh! I think I need to start sending you things because my S.A.B.L.E. is becoming more than I will ever handle. (Stash abundance beyond life expectancy!)
ReplyDeleteI also have this amazing wall hanging (bell pull design) that would make a great Celtic gift for your man. So when are you going to be here-today? Tonight? I can't tell you how much you are missed. I hope we can make this happen SOOOOONNN.
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for Ventian Opulance I can hardly stand it! The colors, the feather thread, the beading.... She will be stunning, just the arch is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNot many stitches tonight :( I was distracted by my first attempt at homemade ice cream... mmm blueberry
