Crone's House CrossStitch

The Crone has been very ill for the past several months and since she was on Spring Break I decided to visit her this weekend! The past few days were filled with fun projects, great food and of course Cross Stitch!
Above is an Herb Garden  I planted during my visit and this little guy is her dog "Bubba" (he is an honorary cat).
I have been struggling with Undine and after several trips to the LNS decided to go a VERY different direction... here is a sneak peak of what the Crone and I devised!
I also received Vintage DMC's (I kind of just want to roll in them)! The dye lots are truly so different and are great for older patterns!
Her internet access is limited so I took pictures of what she has been working on, this cute Carriage House!  Stitched on 32ct OD linen "Legacy."
Now we must plan a trip to see The Mother!

  1. I think it is so wonderful that you have 3 generations of stitchers in your family, how great it must be to share this art with each other. (I would love to see a photo of the 3 of you).

I can't wait to see what you do with Undine.

I once had that Carriage House pattern but I never stitched it.
