Moving Weekend!

I am so sad I cannot fly out with the Crone to see you Mother, but an oppurtunity arose to escape my sister and I jumped on it! So I am moving to a cute little one bedroom over my own garage. I took 4 days off and will try to fit some stitching in. I started "The Dreamer" but she is the hardest stitch I have encountered to date so discouraged I returned to "Spring Queen" last night. The Mermaid sits untouched and it is all I can do not to go out and buy Venetian Opulance. Pictures to follow once I have cable set up. Hopefully I can come visit the next time Crone is in your neck of the woods... The Maiden

Progress.....

"Venetian Opulence" is coming right along. Her headband is all gold Krenik and a Krenik/DMC blend......beautiful but a total pain in the ass to work with. The more I work on her, the more excited I get to finish. Only 17 more solid inches to stitch!!!!!!

The Crone's WIP (one of seven)...

One of the Lilybet Night Fall project. The fabric is what is really outstanding called Relic (32 count). The threads are Weeks Works-the only crummy one is the Onyx which disintegrates as you try to tie knots. I am trying to use the waste knot on this one to try and get away from making too many knots on the back. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Snuck in there...

To cute to resist..found and completed in about 4 hours! I added the title to the piece for the picture-it was the title that got me to buy the pattern. Gentle Arts threads on a new fabric just bought at "market."

Here is an update, pay no attention to the hair for the lighter areas are changing. Updates will be few and far between as I now have to enlist the Crone's help. I will try to remain focus and not be tempted by Sleepy Hollow (another Glendon Place)!

Is there any further development on Venetian Opulence? Please Post. OK Maiden..with now 13 projects going can we see one or two in progress W.I.P? Missing looking at our postings...know we are all crazy busy these days.
