Ophelia's Pearl - Converted

She just took a couple of weeks to stitch up (which is record time for me) including frogging a bunch of green and switching it up to purple.  I am really thrilled how she came out.  I wasn't sold on the purples until I stitched up the tail and added all the beads - they really pulled it all together. 

Pink Tea

I just realized I have not posted a progress picture of Three for Tea since I added the pinks! Not the best photo, but since they are already moved on the snap frame it will have to do!

I am taking a break to work on Violet, by Nora Corbett so unfortunately this project will have to wait. The Maiden

I found Harmony

Harmony from the Muse Collection by Nora Corbett is finally complete!

 This is a belated Christmas Gift for the crone, but I felt we could all use a little Harmony in our lives.

This pattern was a nightmare, easy stitch but there were so many errors and no way to find the corrections! Thankfully a friend on facebook led me to another blogger who had stitched her as well, the heart symbol should be 3831 and the dot is 3824. The bulls eye looking symbol should be 818 not 3824. The Maiden.

Three for Tea, green for me!

Finally, no more green and I can move on to the pink (at least for a little while)! I saw Juls last night (her Mermaid Azure is ready for beads, it took all my will power not to kit it up at my LNS shop right then!) and we made plans for future SALs! Stay tuned, you may see Sabrina and a Mermaid in the future! The Maiden 

first IHSW of 2014!

Determined to have a better year than 2013, I decided to stop ignoring my hobbies and get my fingers in motion for the first IHSW! I had grand plans, that were thwarted by a hot oil burn on my thumb! Boo hiss, but at least I managed to finish the stitching on Harmony.  As soon as I am healed, beads and backstitching will follow! The Maiden.

Happy New Year

On face book I joined a group called "New Year New Mira" and had to wait weeks and weeks to begin this project! Those that started early were punished by a visit from a wee beastie all stitcher's loathe, the frog. At exactly 12:00am I threw my first stitch into My Lady's Garden by Mirabilia, a gift for the Crone.

I cannot wait to see what 2014 will bring us three women!
