Forevermore

I have slowly been cultivating a cross stitch bucket list and Long Dog Samplers was at the top. I Struggled to find just the right project until I came across Forevermore and it was on my snap frame the very same day!  

Stitched on 28ct black jobalan with a colorworx thread in 1065 it is everything I envisioned and more!

Joyful World- January

 Finally set aside a day to coffee tea dye some 28ct Monaco and stitched January form the Joyful World SAL! 

The fox was removed in favor for a murder of crows.

Deadberry Wreath

Finished just in time for Easter this Deadberry wreath added just a touch of macabre to my table this year! 

 While not within the pages of Creepy Cross Stitch the designer is the same, Tusk and Cardinal.

Illuminated Ghoul

 

Another finish in my quest to stitch the entire catalogue of Creepy Cross Stitch. 

Stitched on 14ct Black Aida I used beads for the background and changed the roses to embroidered wagon wheels. The Maiden 

Finally returning to work in January left me little time for stitching and even less for updating my blog (however, I tend to keep up to date on Instagram @stitchingmaiden) but with a lull in my life I thought I would play a little catch up! 

Aphrodite Mermaid was finished just in time for Valentines Day and stitched on a 28ct Lugana called Opalescence. 

DMC C310 etoile was used for all the black stitches adding just a touch more sparkle! 

Monsoon season has come early this year and for the first time since I started stitching I do not have a Mirabilia Mermaid in WIPs... I may need to rectify this situation!

I See (Ginger) Dead People

The last of my Creepmas stitch a thon from 2021 was this little guy, a GingerDead  Man stitched into creation in less than 24 hours! 

I changed every color, after stitching the head and realizing the colors were not what I was after...

I also added white beads, which gave an amazing "frosted" look!

That awkward moment when you realize you have given your Gingey a bulge!

Introducing the Anti-Claus!

My last finish of 2021 was stitched in 10 days on 14ct Smokey White to give it that dirty snow storm look. The most notable change I made was to use Whisper W99 for that dashing black fur look!
