Joyful April?

13 projects resurrected for Maynia and a finish for the first!

I was attempting to stitch from stash last Maynia which resulted in quite the conversion!

Maynia Match

I find an increased sense of satisfaction from working on last years Maynia projects! I was tempted to start this one over as the facbric is a little lackluster, but I pushed through to stitch the roof and could not be happier! This will be a companion piece to rest and be thankful which is on the same fabric.

Maynia Masks

While not quite cross stitch my maynia for tonight did require stitching! I have made over 80 masks for family, friends and coworkers with no end in sight!

Maynia Mother

This Mother's Day I thought it appropriate to resurrect Mother's Arms, a WIP that has languished in my Stash for many years waiting for a nursery wall to adorn.

I stitched the face of the baby and the arm that supports him. They are ghosts no more having existing only in outline.  The Maiden

Maynia Merged

Oh the Shores of Hawk Run Hallow, you just did not get your due yesterday! I decided to devote another night to a different block as I've been stuck on the fish for years and low and behold another fish needed to be stitched!

Every WIP I pick up I do not want to put down, which is insane because I normally struggle to stay focused! I have definitely caught the Maynia madness! The Maiden.

Maynia Mail

The cutest stitchy mail arrived today, and I am feeling the Halloween vibes!

I only managed 25 stitches tonight as I had an eventful day at work and an even more eventful evening, so you may see more of the shores this month!

Maynia Momento

I have revisited the Bouquet for June from last years Maynia and was able to finish off 2 leaves tonight!

The DMC blend of 610/3045 is an inspired choice that really conveys a slight decay! The Maiden

Maynia Mammals

When I reached for April this morning I had the  month and a bunny and now I am close to a finish! I worked on this project for one day in April this year and hoped to see it finished before quarantine was lifted. Having May completed I fear I will need to pick up June before I get my wish! Maynia Meow

It is that time of year again when we dust off our needles and and focus on our craft for the month of May! This years mania however may be fueled by a little more than a love of cross stitch as many of us are entering week 6 of quarantine.

Without any plans for the month beyond a desire to see WIPs resurrected I worked on my Halloween Quaker for today and added these 2 little kitties to the fray!
