 The mother has joined me in Diamond Painting! She was gifted with this "unusual specimen" from Heaven and Earth Designs and has already made amazing progress!

Here is the first page and a half.

The mother is so fast I had to edit this newly formed post to update everyone on her progress!

Pretty

I have completed 12,000 stitches of my Nene Thomas HAED "Pretty." I am so excited to see some of the feathers in her hair outlined and cannot wait to see this page completed. The Maiden

Glimmer

This is the upper right hand corner of glimmer, not much to see yet, but the Crone suggested I post my HAEDs more often for they are so time consuming! Stitched on 25ct yellow lugana, 1 strand DMC over 1. The pinks are a nice change from the blue/greys of Pretty. The Maiden

I have added another HAED to my collection, Glimmer by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law! When I saw this pattern I knew it would go perfectly with my favorite painting by Jada Fire that currently resides in my guest room. This piece is a modest 15 pages (combined it is more like 10 pages) and 78,400 stitches.

Despite my actual postings I am making progress with my current WIPS. I am half way done with the next page on Pretty so I hope to post in a few weeks. The Maiden

Pretty

I finished my first full page of the Heaven and Earth Design "Pretty" by Nene Thomas! Stitched on 25ct Lugana one strand DMC over one. There are 9 pages to the first row, I have completed page 8 and 9 (the last page being only 600 stitches), and even though it is all sky I was not as bored with the background as I thought I would be. The purples and pinks not evident in the design were a nice surprise (although a little unsettling at first, I kept thinking I was using the wrong color). The Maiden

HAED

Heaven and Earth Designs is having a sale! I could not resist buying my favorite pattern "Pretty" by Nene Thomas. This pattern has always been my number one choice (I know it's crazy, but I looked at 5,000!), but after receiving a 99 page pattern from the same artist I started looking for an alternate. To my immense surprise this pattern was only 45 pages (if you condense all the end and half pages it is roughly 36 pages). All 0f the alternates were around 30 pages, so what is another 6 pages? I made a deal with myself, I could buy the DMC and fabric if I stopped buying HEAD patterns. So I giddily went off to Michael's and after 20 minutes at the check out spent an astounding $50.00 on DMC! There are 88 colors and 10 skeins of black! Now all I need is 25ct fabric and the endurance for all that one over one! This is the project of a lifetime and hopefully I will finish it during this one! Psyche's Dream

Here is one of the Heaven and Earth Designs I am considering, I just downloaded the chart from Josephine Wall. I was quite discourage by the last chart I purchased (99 pages all one over one), but to my delight this protect is a little over 13 pages (much easier to wrap my head around)! She has so many interesting patterns I may just throw a few more into the mix before I make my final decision....
