Wipocalypse...The Crone

My First Wipocalypse Finish...Yahoooooooo!! It is not that I have been slacking, it is just that I happened to go back to a former favorite past time of mine Needle Punch. I will put my fun project up for that as well in a minute. I also am almost done with the Tree of Hope by Mirabilia. It is one of my older projects (go figure) and also on my Wipocalypse list. I have only to finish the last flower and then the beading. At least it looks like two of my list of five will get finished. Thanks for looking. The Crone

IHSW July

While I did not get as much accomplished as I wanted, I am still very pleased with my progress on Sabrina by Mirabilia! The best part is the little flower I got to start, you can't see it very well but there is kreinik in there! My most successful hermit in months! The Maiden

WIPocalypse July- Maiden

After weeks and weeks of mulling, I have decided to change my WIPocalypse list. La Clef will be deleted (I have not even started it, so technically I cannot consider it a WIP) and replaced with Sabrina by Mirabilia. Ever resistant to change, I did not want to make substitutions to the list, but I cannot seem to resist Sabrina!
I just spent the weekend in Denver with the future owner of Sabrina and came immediately home to work on this project for her. I had planned to bring this project to CO, but upon arrival I realized I had forgotten to pack my stitching! The horror! Gasp! I guess I will have to make up for it this weekend during the hermit stitch!
My plan is to alternate this project with Mediterranean Mermaid, a project that I now have a SAL partner for (yeah Julie!). The Maiden.

IHSW in June

Another 3rd weekend well spent! I worked on Mediterranean Mermaid which will be a gift...

And Tall Seasons, which was in danger of becoming my first ever UFO (UnFinished Object). I meant to get further, but I need to stitch in such an awkward position my wrists could not take it (sniffle, sadly I have heard The Mother is having problems with her wrists too now!)

Hopefully I will post again soon, I have started a new Mystery Halloween piece... The Maiden

Lilac Framed

Here she is in all her glory, the framing has made this my favorite piece. You cannot see it in the photo, but the glass bubbles outward (so excited!).

WIPocalypse June - A Finish!!!

I am very excited to report I have finished another project off my WIPocalypse list! "Love Letter" was stitched in 10 days on 32ct ODL Vintage Pear using anchor floss (which I will endeavor to never use again, too fibrous and unyielding).
The Crone found this project for me while visiting the Mother. The saying speaks to me, hinting at a story yet to be told.

IHSW and a Sick In

After weeks of not stitching, I finally had a productive weekend! Albeit I was forced to stay in bed all weekend with the flu. Armed with Camille tea I began my hermit with the beading of Magnolia, by Nora Corbett (below is just a teaser, I will let the Crone post the the finished images), which I was able to finish in 5 hours!

I then moved on to Love Letter, a project that I will cherish once done but am finding it hard to work on. I blame the boring colors and all the backstitching! While not the best photo, I was able to accomplish a lot...

Spoiled by my Mirabilia's, The Maiden.
