IHSW and 2 finishes!!!

Yeah, the last bead has been placed on Mermaids of the Deep Blue by Mirabilia! I picked this project up exactly 2 months ago as a SAL with Juls and I must say I could not be happier with the final product! A question on beading: do you use a half stitch or whole to secure the bead?

Unfortunately I do not know the name of this fabric (it may be Dawn?), but I can tell you it is a 32ct overdyed linen.

This is a present for The Crone, Gentle Arts thread on 36ct Days Gone By one over one. By far the hardest project I have encountered to date (I have even abandoned the notion of stitching this twice, one for me) I am so ecstatic this is complete!

Mark 2 off my WIPocalypse list! Whoo hoo! The Maiden

WIPocalypse Posting 1- Maiden

Beading, Beading and more Beading! Love the look, hate the process (especially since it seems to aggravate my carpel tunnel). My camera died, so I took this one with my phone. Hopefully it is not too bad, and I will post better ones once I get a finish (squeak so excited!).

Started work today teaching High School Biology Honors and Genetics, so stitching will suffer (but at least I have a job!). The Maiden

WIPocalypse Posting I Red Skies at Night by Mirabilia

This is my first choice on my WIPocalypse lists. I have my original post prior to beginning the list and then I have my progress thus far. I am hoping to do a minimum of two months on each project (but I did add a 7th project to my we shall see). I want to stick with this one and "get er' done" before I travel onto my second item of my list. I am very excited about being part of such a large group of stitchers. I am also amazed at the level of stitching some of you are doing. Wow! The Crone
